What is it?
The Suorin Air Pro is an update to the popular Air & Air Plus pod devices released by Suorin.
So with the tag of ‘Pro,’ what does the new device bring to the table over its predecessors.
The Suorin Air Pro sports an incredibly slim ‘credit card’ style design, but still manages to pack in a 930mAh battery. This is the same size battery as the Air Plus and larger than the original Air (500mAh).
There’s been a slight update to the charging also. Suorin states it features 1A charging, and there will be a Pogo charging dock available separately. This is to go alongside its USB charging capabilities, which sadly, by the looks of the pictures is still micro-USB.
The Pro’s power output is 18W, which is a little lower, but this might just be down to the fact there is only one pod/coil option available at the time of release.
The Pro also comes with an LED indicator light. A single light is mounted on the fire button compared to the 5 LED light system found on the Plus version.
Speaking of the fire button, the Pro is not the only way to fire the device, as it also comes with draw activation.
The pods that come with the Suorin Pro have a 4.6ml capacity and an integrated coil. There is only one resistance available at present, a 1ohm Pro Mesh Coil, but Suorin state more will be released later. Obviously, the pods’ capacity will be reduced to 2ml when the device is released in TPD regulated areas.
Suorin also claims that each pod is good for 6 refills before performance may decrease.
The Suorin Pro will be available in 11 different colors: Ice Blue, Lively Green, Sunglow Gold, Lavender Purple, Rainbow, Silver, Black, Faded Skeleton, Gunmetal, Star-Spangled Red, and Star-Spangled Blue.

Our Vibe
Suorin doesn’t release as many vape devices as other manufacturers, and when they do, they keep to what they know with pod systems.
There’s nothing major to get excited about with the Suorin Pro, but it is a sleek-looking device.
I’m a little disappointed that it seems it’s still only got micro-USB for charging, and the pogo charging dock is a bit pointless, in my opinion.
As for the performance of the 1ohm Mesh coil, we’ll have to wait and see and let’s hope it’s not too long before Suorin releases alternative options as well.
