What is it?
As the name suggests, the Wotofo Manik Mini Pod Kit is Wotofo’s smaller version of the Manik Kit.
However, the Manik Mini kit is a far more low maintenance device, tailored to those that like the simple things when it comes to vaping.
The Manik Mini is a pod style device but uses refillable and replaceable pods. The coils are built into the pods, so you have to throw the whole pod out when it’s time to change.
It may not suit everybody, but it’s definitely for those that hate to mess about with different coils.
The pods have a side fill port and a 3ml capacity (2ml TPD). There are two variants included in the kit:
- M11 pod – 0.6ohm Parallel double Kanthal A1 wire coil (18-22W)
- M12 NexMESH pod – 0.6ohm triple NexMESH coil (15-18W)
Wotofo has labeled both coils as ‘MTL Flavor,’ and there is no sign of any adjustable airflow on the device.
The Manik Mini device itself contains a 1000mAh internal battery charged via Micro USB at a 1.2A rate. Wotofo claims an hour charge time and also states the device supports passthrough vaping.
The Manik Mini has a 0.69in OLED display, which is good for such a small device.
Its body is made of Zinc Allow, which is wrapped with stylish stitched leather panels. The pod compartment also has a waterproof seal to prevent any leak or condensation damage.
The Manik Mini is powered by the ‘NexCHIP,’ which has a variable output range of 1-30W. It comes with all the standard safety protections and also promises speedy firing.
There is only one button on the device found below the screen. This appears to be only for adjusting power settings, as the Manik Mini features a draw-activated sensor.
The Manik Mini kit will be available in 8 colors: Black, Grey, Red, Beige, Gold, Blue, Orange, and Green.

Our Vibe
Wotofo’s Manik Mini kit is quite a stylish looking little device.
I like the fact it has adjustable wattage and a screen to see all of your settings and battery status, and a 1000mAh battery is a good capacity for a small device.
It’s a real shame, however, to see it’s a micro USB port for charging! We are in 2021; all devices should be USB type-c by now.
However, as with all pod kits, the performance is really going to come down to the coils.
It’s interesting to see that both pods contain MTL coils built for flavor, and one is even using the impressive nexMESH.
Disappointingly there doesn’t seem to be any adjustable airflow, as the airflow comes in from the side of the device. So I don’t think the MTL draw is going to suit everybody.
We’ll have to wait and see whether they deliver a tight or loose MTL draw and just how good those coils are.
