SMOK X-Force Kit Intro
SMOK is always entertaining us with a crazy array of tanks, MODs, kits, and coils and the SMOK X-Force Kit is no exception. This time with a convenient, user-friendly, open pod platform with the delivery of a high-performance vape device.
What Is it?
The X-Force Kit by SMOK is an all in one kit, which is almost a pod mod in design with the appearance of a box mod. It has one-button activation, 5 LED indicators to show the remaining power of the built-in 2000mAh battery and a USB port for charging.
The X-Force is integrated with several safety features to help protect you with an 8-second shut-off function that automatically cuts power to the atomizer coil if the firing bar is pressed for longer than 8 seconds, helpful if the bar is accidentally activated while carrying the X-Force in your bag or pocket. It is also equipped with short-circuit protection as well as low voltage protection, making it safe while using or charging the device.
The X-Force tank is refillable with a large e-liquid capacity of 7ml from its plastic pod style tank, and a 2ml capacity on the TPD version. However, both tanks being the same size and dimension it’s currently unclear whether the 2ml TPD version features a removable grommet, or if you’ll be limited by it’s design to 2ml.
The X-Force tank utilizes a removable 0.3-Ohm transverse coil. The X-Force Coil is ceramic and mounted horizontally in a base assembly. At present the X-Force Coils only come in 0.3-Ohm, but we’d expect with Smok to see a further range of coils later down the line.

Our Vibe
The X-Force is a stylish looking mod, once again let down by the naming of the device. It’s an innovative idea, although not new as it is very similar to the Atopack style from Joyetech which also has a ceramic coil mounted horizontally in a base assembly.
I like the fact you can refill the tank with e-liquid and replace the coil head on its own. A much better idea and improvement of those pod mods where you have to replace the pod when the coil fails or when the tank becomes empty.
There is no airflow adjustment and SMOK state the airflow design has been improved to produce more considerable clouds and provide a more dense flavor.
