iJoy Jupiter Kit | Preview

You’re not mistaken; the iJoy Jupiter Kit is another AIO/pod mod device that is proving to be a popular design format for manufacturers.

So what do iJoy bring to the table with their effort?

Well, the Jupiter is a variable wattage device with a power output of 70W, and it utilizes a removable 18650 battery to achieve that power.

It comes with iJoy’s Univ chipset, which was present in the iJoy Shogun mod, but there’s no mention of whether the Jupiter offers extra features or just variable wattage.

On the front of the device, there is a 0.96inch color screen to display all your vaping data.

The iJoy Jupiter uses replaceable coils from the new ‘J’ range explicitly designed for this kit, which will screw into a base that can be then be pushed into the pod.

There are currently 2 coil options, and both are included in the kit:

• J2 – 0.6ohm Mesh (20-30W)
• J1 – 0.2ohm Mesh (40-70W)

There’s also an RBA coil available, so you can build your own coils and truly tailor your vape.

The pod for the Jupiter is connected to the device via magnets and has a 5ml juice capacity or 2ml for those sold under TPD regulations.

The iJoy Jupiter Kit is available in 8 colors: Black, Red, Blue, Green, Golden Green, Gunmetal, Orange, and Purple.

It’s a struggle to get excited with all these similar devices coming out at the moment.

However, iJoy has a good track record for making quality devices, so I’m pretty sure the Jupiter won’t be any different.

It has a decent chipset, utilizes a replaceable 18650 battery, and comes with an optional RBA section – all good things, in my opinion.

Sadly there’s no mention of adjustable airflow, so you’ll probably be stuck with the airflow that the coils offer, which means it’s not going to be the greatest device for MTL vapers.

As usual, we’ll wait until we get our hands on the iJoy Jupiter and run it through its paces before we can offer a solid recommendation.
